“I just want to be young and fun,” is how Justin Bieber described his style to us when he hit the Access Hollywood Live studio for an in-depth interview.

Obviously, I am nowhere near the target age of Justin’s fans. But I can see why the youngins (especially the girls) are into him—he’s the total package. His music is extremely catchy. He’s talented. He’s charming. He’s cute. (He’s just as cute in person, by the way.) The hair is fantastic. As for his style—It’s hip and age appropriate. He was rocking a dark jacket and dark jeans, massive gold studs, a yellow shirt, yellow watch and yellow sneaks.

He joked, “I think that people should all wear yellow shoes!” And he admitted that he’s a big shoe person. “I have a bunch of kicks, I like shoes.”
He went on to say, “I want to just be me and whatever that is, it is.”

And what “that is” is a worldwide phenomenon. He’s sold 12 million albums worldwide and his shaggy mane sent countless boys to their hair stylists to get “the Bieber,” which has since been replaced with a cropped do.

After the interview, Billy Bush challenged Justin to a game of hockey on our soundstage with Kit Hoover as the goalie. I took this photo of him during the game. He was a good sport about it and even won in a tiebreaker.

Then, Justin posed for photos with some of the staff members’ kids, who came just to see him. They were decked out in Justin Bieber hats, shirts, pins, etc. It was cool to have them here and see them being so excited to meet him.

Then we watched him get in his black Range Rover and drive away. And just like that…he was gone.
