We're right in the middle of all the Oscar hoopla, and one thing several of the celebrated films feature are girls with covetable curls! Curly hair maven Lorraine Massey, co-founder of Devachan Salon and DevaCurl products, shows how you can achieve three screen-worthy looks.

THE LOOK: The "Marilyn Monroe" Curl Set

HOW TO: Marilyn Monroe had natural curls like so many of us (even Jackie O!). This application is best on second-day hair, or hair that is dry, to achieve maximum fullness and body.

Divide hair into sections that can wrap around three or four fingers (in place of Velcro rollers).

Take a section and spritz with the DevaCurl Spray Gel. Wrap the hair backward around three or four fingers, from knuckles to ends.

Slide curls off fingers, keeping the roll intact by clipping and anchoring.

Repeat the four-finger-roll around the head.

Spritz the DevaCurl Spray Gel once more over finished coils & either DevaFuse, hood dry or air dry.

Hair net/silk scarf optional!

THE LOOK: "Wave Artist"

HOW TO: After cleansing with DevaCurl No-Poo and DevaCurl One Condition, pat hair downward to remove excess water with a microfiber towel or t-shirt to avoid entangling it.

Evenly distribute DevaCurl AnGEL / DevaCare Arc AnGEL or DevaCurl Spray Gel throughout the hair and comb downward with fingers, allowing the natural wave pattern to reveal itself. (Because hair is so uniquely visual, you will see the crests and concaves of your wave pattern appear.)

Careful not to disturb the natural wave pattern, place embellished headband about an inch back from the hairline.

Loosely gather curls behind ears and gently twist into a low chignon at the nape of the neck.

Pin to secure.

THE LOOK: "Roll Model" (a.k.a. curls trying to be a wave)

HOW TO: After cleansing hair with DevaCurl No-Poo, 100% sulfate & silicone free cleanser, comb DevaCurl One Condition through the hair with fingers only.

Remember to leave in a milky residue of the conditioner when rinsing. This is very important as it truly helps to seal in extra moisture that allows curly waves to dry frizz-free and defined.

With a t-shirt or micro towel, gently remove excess water by squeezing hair in downward motion.

Keeping head upright, evenly distribute a generous palm full of DevaCurl AnGEL/DevaCare Arc AnGEL/DevaCurl Spray Gel into hair.

Comb through with fingers (only) from roots to ends while the hair is in its natural position.

Take a panel section of hair from front section around face and twist hair backwards until you create a roll.

Anchor the end with a clip to keep in position during the drying process.

Repeat in large panel sections around the head until all hair is rolled, sealed and deva-livered!
