As we wrap up 2011, we look back at a few of the year's big fashion moments and trends.

THE DRESS

Yeah, that one that had EVERYONE in the world watching…when Kate Middleton married Prince William in April. Collective gasp. Utter Perfection. Well done, Kate, well done.

FASCINATORS

The hats so loved by the British became a household name here in the States…most of us had never heard of a fascinator before. Princess Beatrice's over-the-top hat became a late night joke and even a popular Halloween costume. She got the last laugh though — auctioning off the hat for charity.

MISSONI MANIA

So many fashion-loving folks (including yours truly) were crazy for the Missoni for Target line that the chain's website crashed on September 13.

FEATHERS

We all showed our boho side by adding feathers to our hair. Even the girls at my daughter's pre-school are into this, it's that big of a trend.

RETRO STYLE

ABC's "Pan Am" and NBC's "The Playboy Club" both showcased '60s style and did it well.

COLORED DENIM

Red jeans were one of THE biggest trends this year. Royal blue and Kelly green were other big colors and we saw celebs wearing everything from deep purple to bright yellow. Joe's Jeans even introduced its 55 colors collection of yep — a whopping 55 colors of the rainbow.
