Denise Richards Adopts Baby Girl

Just when Denise Richards had one less kid to care for in her life (Charlie Sheen), she goes and adopts another!

"Denise recently adopted a baby girl domestically," her rep tells OK!. "Eloise Joni Richards is named after Denise's mom (Joni) and Denise and her daughters Sami and Lola chose the name Eloise.

Her rep adds, "Denise and Eloise's big sisters couldn't be happier and feel incredibly blessed."

I hope she doesn't turn into Angelina or something and attempt to adopt all of Africa and Asia - keep it simple girl!

Charlize Theron: Marriage Isn't Important

If you were searching for that next big bling ring to buy (in the desperate hopes that one day you might actually convince Charlize Theron to marry you by letting a little puppy hide that ring in a pile of dog crap) you might as well give it up. Charlize Theron is not getting married.

"I really want for myself a long-term relationship, and I have been in long-term relationships," Theron, 35, tells Piers Morgan in an interview to air Thursday on CNN. "That's the kind of union that I want. The actual ceremony is not something that is important to me, but I see the importance for other people."

Asked if she sees herself ever getting married, she replies: "I don't … I treat my relationships like marriages, I really do." Marriage, she adds, was "never something that was important [to me]."

UPDATE: Jonathan Rhys-Meyers Didn't Attempt Suicide

The Tudors star was rushed to a hospital Tuesday night after police found his body slumped on the floor of his apartment. A source has come forward claiming that Rhys-Meyers didn't attempt suicide.

A Scotland Yard rep told The Sun: "Officers were called by London Ambulance Service following reports of a man refusing treatment. The man was taken to hospital." Rhys-Meyers was then spotted leaving the hospital himself, offering a "no comment" to The Sun.

Although sources told the paper that the British actor, who has struggled with alcoholism, tried to take his own life by swallowing pills, an insider tells Us Weekly: "It was not a suicide attempt. He did relapse and was hospitalized for that, but was released."

I hope this "insider" didn't go by the name of Jameson or Jack Daniels! But seriously, the guy is Irish - isn't it his birthright to be drunk at least 80% of his waking hours? I think peeps are over-reacting a bit.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers Hospitalized After Alleged Suicide Attempt

Jonathan Rhys Meyers was rushed to a London hospital Tuesday night following an alleged suicide attempt. According to reports, paramedics received an emergency call and found the Tudors star slumped in his home after an apparent drug overdose. Police were called to the scene 30 minutes later because Meyers, 33, was allegedly refusing treatment. He was forced in to an ambulance and taken to a hospital.

"We can confirm we were called by the London Ambulance Service to an address in NW8 to report to a man refusing treatment. Police attended, and the man was taken by ambulance to a central London hospital. That was the end of our involvement," a spokesman for Scotland Yard told People magazine.

Meyers, who has sought treatment for alcoholism five separate times in the past, was released from the hospital Wednesday morning. He has not commented.

Lindsay Lohan Gets Hammered to Celebrate the End of House Arrest!

Lindsay Lohan's house arrest ended yesterday! She had officers visit her home to remove her ankle bracelet. Lohan will now be free to travel, but her punishment for violating probation in her DUI case is not yet completed. Lohan, 24, must still complete 480 hours of community service and undergo psychological counseling.

So what better way to celebrate then to go out and get totally hammered!

Immediately after her house arrest ended yesterday Lindsay told her friends she's afraid to go out and just wants to focus on her community service then stay at home reading a book with her sister. She must have gotten bored with that because she was spotted out last night around 11pm at the new hot spot Lexington Social House with a group of friends and from the looks of it, I don't think she is sober?

"Lindsay and her assistant and a bunch of friends were hanging out at the restaurant," an eyewitness told RadarOnline.com. "She was sitting on the outdoor patio chain smoking and talking to some guys and girls about silly things, like what the perfect height was for a girl."

Denise Richards Adopts a Daughter!

Denise Richards is mom to a new daughter. The actress's rep confirms she adopted a baby girl named Eloise Joni. Eloise joins Richards' two daughters -- Sam, 7, and Lola, 6, -- with ex-husband Charlie Sheen.

"Eloise Joni Richards is named after Denise's mom (Joni), and Denise and her daughters Sami and Lola chose the name Eloise. Denise and Eloise's big sisters couldn't be happier and feel incredibly blessed," the rep tells People magazine.

In a Tweet last night Richards said she is "over the moon" about becoming a mother again. "Thank you all for your sweet messages," she wrote. "The girls and I are over the moon and so is my dad Grandpa Irv...xo"

Eloise was adopted domestically.

Michael Bay Doesn’t Change His Style For Anybody (Except James Cameron)

Okay, I’ll admit it, ever since I read GQ‘s oral history (yes, that’s what they’re calling it) of Michael Bay, I knew I had to find a way to do a post on this guy. Never, in all my years reading ridiculous celebrity interviews (excuse me, oral histories) have I encountered such a masterpiece of douchebaggery. This guy is 10 shades of awful, and about 20 shades of delusional.

Yet he seems to know what the American public likes when it comes to movies — i.e. explosions, titties, and more explosions. And somehow GQ was able to dig up enough people who don’t straight-up hate him to fill an eight page oral history. So good for him, I guess.

I thought about pulling a bunch of quotes to give you a little taste of the epic asshattery, but then I figured I better just send you over to GQ and let you read the whole thing. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

But what caught my eye, and gave me an opportunity to bring Bay back to the pages of Our Fair Site was this little nugget:

Bay: I don't change my style for anybody. Pussies do that.

Paging Mr. Cameron. Mr. James Cameron, God of the 3D movie, to the post, please:

Bay concedes he has done an about-face on 3-D, a format he once said did not fit with his “aggressive style” of filmmaking, namely, quick cuts and unrelenting action. The technology typically requires longer shots to give the eye time to react to its depth of field.

But when James Cameron invited him to the set of Avatar, Bay began to see possibilities.

“At first I thought, ‘This isn’t for me,’” he recalls. “The cameras were big, the sets were cold. It wasn’t my style.”

But he considers Cameron a godfather of sorts and was swayed by his plea. “He said, ‘You need to do one. We need big movies in 3-D or it’s not going to work.’”

And if for some reason this whole Transformers in 3D thing doesn’t end up working out — don’t go blaming Bay. It’s not his sh*tty filming, it’s the those damn projectionists:

Michael Bay likes his special effects. But more importantly, he likes his special effects to be presented in the utmost quality. And now, he is politely asking projectionists in the movie theaters that are playing Transformers 3: Dark Side of the Moon in 3D to kindly brighten the bulbs used to project the movies to a level that will cause them to burn out faster. This will improve the viewing presentation of his films, and will only cost theaters a few thousand dollars to replace the bulbs. You know. Just do him this favor, guys. Spend a few extra thousands of dollars for Transformers 3.

Well, you know, if you can’t ask the popcorn guy to flesh out the plot, the ticket girl to beef up the characters, or the sticky-floor scrubber to write a new script, why not ask the projectionist to turn up the juice on the ‘ol bulbs? After all, it couldn’t hurt.

Jennifer Aniston has a movie to promote, which means she’s fine with talking openly about her love life for the next 2-3 weeks before demanding her privacy again.

And this time around, that entails her secrets to relationship happiness:

"You need to talk to each other and you have to say what you want," said Jennifer, who was previously married to Brad Pitt.

"You don't confront your man about things which you're not happy about, you approach it in a much more constructive way. You never want to be in an adversarial situation where it's you versus him. All couples face those kinds of difficulties, but you've got to be able to talk about your problems and your needs and do it in a positive way. That's easier said than done, of course."

Must be, because has she ever had a successful, lasting relationship? With Tate Donovan or Brad Pitt or Vince Vaughn or John Mayer or any of the other guys she’s chewed up and spit out (or been dumped by) in the past 15 years?

Taking relationship advice from Jen Aniston seems to me as wise a notion as using investment tips from Toni Braxton. Or hiring Kirstie Alley as your weight-loss guru. In other words: Run in the other direction.

Emma Stone: She could have been on 'Heroes'

Emma Stone confesses to Vanity Fair in a new interview that she hit a "rock bottom" moment in Hollywood a few years ago. And when was that moment? When she realized she would not be cast as cheerleader Claire Bennet in the NBC series "Heroes."

Stone — appearing in three movies this summer, not to mention the upcoming "The Amazing Spider-Man" — tells the magazine that she very quickly realized she had no shot at becoming the subject of the catch phrase "Save the cheerleader, save the world."

"I could hear that, in the other room, a girl had just gone in and they were saying, 'You are our pick … On a scale of 1 to 10 you're an 11,'" Stone says. Hayden Panettiere eventually exited said room.

Amber Rose denies she sent nude pics to Nicki Minaj's ex

Kanye West's ex-girlfriend Amber Rose has denied a report from MediaTakeOut.com that she sent extremely graphic nude photos of herself to hip-hop star Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend. But she hasn't claimed that the woman in the photos — which, I repeat, are extremely explicit — isn't her.

MediaTakeOut, which seems to be a blog devoted to writing things in all CAPS with lots of exclamation marks, ran a story aptly titled, "AMBER ROSE WAS CREEPING WITH NICK MINAJ'S BOYFRIEND . . . AND WE HAVE THE NEKKID PICS TO PROVE IT!!!" A source told the site that Minaj caught her boyfriend in Rose's hotel room after her birthday party, and later found out about the nude photo exchange.

Hulk Hogan denies ex-wife Linda Hogan's claims of abuse

Linda Hogan accused her ex-husband, wrestler Hulk Hogan, of abuse, infidelity and taking prescription drugs on Tuesday's "Today" show, writing in her new book that she was "afraid he would kill me in one of his rages."

Hulk Hogan denied he physically abused his ex on the radio program, "Bubba the Love Sponge Show," Tuesday afternoon, calling his former spouse "delusional."

Linda Hogan appeared with Matt Lauer to discuss her autobiography, "Wrestling the Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes," in which she writes that her ex-husband "tore my shirt. He threw lamps. He held me down on the bed with his hands around my throat during arguments, slamming doors, pounding walls."

'Transformers: Dark of the Moon': The critics love and loathe it

The critics have spoken about "Transformers: Dark of the Moon." And what they seem to be saying is: We surrender.

As I noted in a post yesterday, reviewing a Michael Bay-driven juggernaut is almost pointless: a "Transformers" movie is exactly what you expect. To some people, that sounds like the best news ever. To others, it's an invitation to hit the nearest chapel and begin praying, softly but urgently, that the minds of the American public don't melt into a puddle of goo.
